Get the Gospel

John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

Have you ever wondered just what people mean when they say Gospel??? It simply means good news.

So who defines what is good?

Only a Loving and Just God, who is:

all knowing, all powerful, everywhere at all times, all wise, faithful, loving, caring, compassionate, merciful, and yet Holy (perfect without sin or fault) God, who has always been, and will always be. The only one who is worthy of trust, praise and adoration.

Having said all that, which is so hard to try to fathom, comprehend or understand. I must urge you to take a little walk of faith that you might hear the good news; which is that .....God loves you and every person ever born or that shall be born soooo much that He provided a plan of salvation to save us from our sins and provide us with a way to live with Him now and eternally.

The ultimate sacrifice was His Son, Jesus Christ, who was perfect and sinless, offered himself up for us to pay the price of death which is the cost of our sins.

He did this for us so that we may live forever with Him.

Now with his Holy Spirit living within us as we live our lives on earth. He is faithful never to leave us or forsake us even in our toughest trials He has promised to be with us and lead us, and strengthen us to be conformed to His image, to be more like him. And then eternally sharing in his glory, without pain, without fear, full of joy, peace and every good thing.

But the only way to receive this salvation that God has provided is to recieve the gift, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ death on the cross for your sins. You must believe that Jesus died for you, that you are a sinner and have sinned against God and nothing you can do can ever change that, can make it better, or be good enough to buy you a pardon. The blood of Jesus is the only way to have your sins washed clean, forgiven, cleansed forever, and restore the relationship between you and the Holy Father God who loves you so much he sacrificed His only Son on a cross for you.

Believe by faith that Jesus died on the cross and rose again to life, ascended into heaven, and He now sits at the right hand of the Father God interceding (praying or working on our behalf) for us.

Ask Him to be the Lord of your life, to rule and reign because it is not just about believing, the demons do that, but you must live the life in faith and turn from your old ways and sinful desires which only lead you into bondage and slavery. If you talk to God (pray) and ask Him to forgive you, and believe in Jesus and confess that Jesus is Lord you shall be saved. You shall become a new creation. Your spirit man of old shall die and all things shall become new.

Just a little walk of faith... big words or intellect can not take you there, you can fight it with all kinds of excuses, but if you really want to know the truth the only way to find it is through Jesus Christ and this little walk of faith.

When you pray to make Christ the Lord of your life please contact us so we can share in the joy of your new life in Christ.

The following are a list of Scriptures from the Holy Bible which say what I told you above.

It is good to read these scriptures to yourself outloud and then say what they mean to you out loud.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

John 3:3 I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.

John 14:6 " I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

Romans 10:9-11 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 for it is with your heart that you believe and are justifed, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the scripture says, "anyone who trust in him will never be put to shame."

Revelation 3:20 Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me.
